This fun and fantasy -filled book is a great way for kids to escape to Hogwarts, a magical school far away, unheard of, in London. Harry Potter (a wizard with no parents), Ron Weasley (a poor red head), and Hermione Granger (a smart muggle born,non-magic parents) are all on a mission to find out what the Chamber of Secrets is and who opened it. Unfortunately, they run into some problems. A big one is that Hermione has been petrified. But by what? The kids suspect that Gilderoy Lockhart, (a famous book writer that has been asked to teach at Hogwarts) has opened the Chamber of Secrets. Can the two of them solve the case? Will Hermione be okay?
